Spring is on its way

Painting in the Chess Valley near Sarrat

small bee on paint brush

One advantage of working outside throughout the year is being aware of the changing seasons.  It definitely feels as if spring is here at last.

I thought I would share a few of the photos I have taken while out painting over the last few days.

Clockwise from top left: The Chess Valley, Richmond Bridge, A friendly heron at Richmond, a tiny bee that settle on my painting kit.

Nice photo’s Roy but the first one isn’t clickable. 😐 Are those people in the second one aware that they are trespassing into you painting?!?!

  2. Roy says:

Thanks, René. I’ve fixed the link to the first picture. I’ll post a close-up when I have been back to finish it off.
The woman in red in the Richmond painting is my friend Dora. She is married to Ken Howard who was painting the other side of the bridge.

Will you be putting the picture you are going to paint on Stockers Lake this evening on this site? I am the lady who talked to you this afternoon by the river Chess. I had my chocolate Labrador with me. Best wishes Jan

  4. Roy says:

Jan, that depends on how well the pictures go 🙂
I am just heading over there now.
